Atlantis7349 is an initiative that started out in 2020 amidst the Covid-19 pandemic.
WhatsApp platforms and social media to engage local community and to keep them informed about all relevant matters.
Where humanitarian relief was needed, the platform could connect giving "7349 Angels" to those in need. Residents also use the WhatsApp line when needing help with service requests, seeking advice, recommendations and to provide feedback on polls.
2021
In January 2021, the Atlantis7349 Burning Issues group was created to address just that: The burning issues pertaining to communities and the developments in- and around Atlantis.
A month later, and leading up to the Local Government Elections, the Atlantis on Politics group was added to allow those interested in politics to engage one another in a respectful and constructive manner. Political leaders and politicians from other areas joined in the conversation as well.
2022
In 2022, Atlantis7349 (Pty)Ltd was finally registered as a formal entity. The vision is to inform, engage and empower communities with the aim of enabling conscious decision-making, growth and promoting fair access to opportunities.
Business Empowerment model brought to life with the aim of equipping small local business owners and entrepreneurs to grow into sustainable businesses.
